After a decade developing environmental programs for an NGO, Ashley Bland established Constructive Energy in 2018 for the purpose of the rapidly advancing uptake of renewable energy technologies, particularly in regional Australia.
Ashley is an articulate environmental professional with diverse experience and a creative mindset. He is known for exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, asking good questions and coming up with innovative solutions that draw on his tertiary training in both engineering and ecology. He has over 25 years’ experience working within the agriculture, mining, construction, energy, water, waste, Natural Resource Management and entertainment sectors.
With skills best suited to creating positive change, Ashley has instigated multiple successful projects and programs for government, private and not-for-profit organisations to the value of tens of millions of dollars.

Tom Griffiths joined Constructive Energy as a Director in 2020, bringing with him a complimentary set of skills to Ashley’s. He’s broadly described of as the teams ‘data miner’.
Tom is a driven and outcome focused Information Communications Technology (ICT)
professional with over 16 years of corporate and government experience, leading
projects and undertaking senior technical roles. This included extensive experience in the energy retail sector.
From 2007-2019, Tom was ICT manager of the SMART Group, which is a leading
outsourced sales and marketing company operating across three countries. SMART’s
operations focused on retail energy and energy efficiency. In 2007, Tom’s role was
extended to include SMART’s subsidiary business GreenMadeEasy Pty Ltd.
Tom has a wide-ranging ICT experience including Program Management, Project Delivery, Data Management, Business Support Systems, Business Continuity and Spatial Systems. Tom’s hands-on approach and strong understanding of technical capability, while approaching problems from a commercial mind-set, ensure business needs are best met.

Caoimhin Ardren is an expert in project management and commercial negotiations. He has over 25 years’ experience in planning and the development of energy efficient and sustainable precincts. Caoimhin and Ashley have worked together on a variety of projects since 2011. His expertise in project management and commercial negotiations brings more complimentary skills to the Constructive Energy team.
Over the last decade, Caoimhin has gathered extensive experience in energy management - both demand and supply-side as well as renewable energy. Most notably, a 30-year energy plan for the new Western Sydney Airport, and feasibility studies for embedded network and power purchase agreements (PPA’s) for shopping centres.

Maria Kamper is the glue that holds the Constructive Energy team together and functioning smoothly. A highly experienced Senior Administration Coordinator, working for more than 25 years specialising in Executive Assistant Administration, Customer Relations, Event Management, Marketing, Social Media, Web Management and Design.
Maria is also the President of the 22q Foundation Australia and New Zealand, not-for-profit charity supporting people affected by 22q111.2 deletion syndrome.

With a background in Record Production, IT Project management and computer programming, David Pascoe brings a broad range of skills and knowledge to the project team.
Comfortable in delivering $60 million program of works for the University of Newcastle to recording singles for Boy George, David enjoys delivering innovative solutions to complex problems.

David Pascoe
Project Manager/Technical Analyst
John has been an environmental leader and innovator for over 30 years, holding a range of roles delivering projects and programs from the local to national scale. He is a proven manager and designer of water, energy, food, housing, Landcare, environment, climate and landscape rehydration, biodiversity and farm regeneration programs.

John brings extensive experience in Local Government to the team having served on Council staff and more recently as a Councillor. He also has a strong background with trusts, boards, corporates, agencies, faith groups, schools and universities. John supports Constructive Energy with research projects, stakeholder engagement, carbon sequestration and energy efficiency projects.
