End-to-end project management and strategic advisory for solar and battery storage projects across regional and rural Australia.
Constructive Energy works with local governments, landholders, developers and investors at every stage of the project lifecycle — from the first question to the final handover. Our clients are the ones who need someone with both technical depth and genuine regional knowledge to get things done.
We are completely independent. No supplier affiliations, no preferred contractors, no financial interest in the equipment you choose. Our only interest is in the project working for you.
We manage the full journey from concept to commissioning for solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. This includes initial site assessment, feasibility reporting, procurement and tendering, contract administration, construction superintendency, commissioning management and handover.
Our clients are typically councils, rural businesses and landholders investing in projects in the 1–10MW scale. We act as the owner's representative throughout — coordinating contractors, managing the network authority process and ensuring the project lands on time, on budget and to specification.
Recent projects include the Eugowra Sewerage Treatment Solar Farm (Cabonne Council), commissioning management for Mid Western Regional Council, and 5MW Solar + BESS feasibility and delivery projects for Bland Shire Council and Armidale Regional Council.
Grid connection is often the most technically demanding and time-critical part of any renewable energy project. We manage the full Chapter 5A process with Essential Energy and have experience with TransGrid 330kV transmission connections for larger-scale storage projects.
Our service covers the Preliminary Connection Enquiry (PCE), Connection Application (CAS), Contestable Information Studies Agreement (CISA), protection settings, commissioning documentation and final handover to the network. We prepare and manage all regulatory submissions, coordinate HV engineering studies, and liaise directly with the network authority on your behalf.
We also manage the pre-commissioning and commissioning phase for embedded generation and storage projects, including performance testing under the relevant Network Technical Standards.
Before committing to a project, most clients need clear, independent advice on whether it makes sense — technically, financially and strategically. We provide Renewable Energy Action Plans for local governments, investment feasibility assessments for landholders and developers, and technology due diligence for investors considering energy assets or suppliers.
Our advisory work draws on direct market experience at every scale — from community solar to 300MW utility-scale BESS. We have delivered feasibility studies for data centres, mines, mineral processing plants, water treatment facilities, food processing plants, cotton gins and large-scale agribusiness. Every engagement is designed to give clients a clear, honest picture of what's possible and what it will take to get there.
Constructive Energy has a long history in the residential and community energy efficiency space. We provide NatHERS design and energy rating services, and have worked with Green Homes Group to train builders nationally in energy efficient residential design and construction.
This work reflects a long-standing commitment to making better energy outcomes accessible at every scale — from a single home to a council asset portfolio.
Every engagement starts with a direct conversation. Here's how it typically unfolds.
A no-obligation conversation to understand your situation, your goals and what stage you're at. We'll tell you honestly what we think is possible and what the path looks like.
A clear fee proposal scoped to your specific project, with milestone-based billing. Our day rate is transparent and our fees are fixed to agreed milestones. No surprises.
Constructive Energy manages the process end-to-end, with direct access to Ashley throughout. You stay informed without being overwhelmed by technical detail.
A short conversation is usually all it takes to figure out what you need. Get in touch — no obligation.
